Music Program

WHALE SPIRIT PRE-SCHOOL

Whale Spirit Preschool is a 30 month-5 years centre.
- Class sizes will not exceed 15 children.
- 1 ECE instructor and 1 assistant per session.

REACH

REACH is a specialized Early Childhood Centre for infants and toddlers ages 0-36 months.
- REACH follows the Hours of Belmont Secondary school open each week day from 8am-3:50pm. It is important to note that because REACH follows the school year calendar it is closed on school holidays and Pro-D days.

DROP-IN GYM TIME

Every Tue and Thur. from 9:00 - 11:00. A drop-in gym/ play group for preschoolers and their caregivers.

Parenting Programs

Parent-Child Mother Goose Program, for parents & caregivers with babies 0 -12 months. GNH (Goldstream Neighborhood House)
Times are: Fridays, from 9 – 10 a.m., May 23 - July 11.

At this point we don’t have childminding for older children in place. Should I get a lot of interest from people who would like to attend with an older sibling, then I will look into offering it.

NOBODY'S PERFECT

A group for parents who are isolated and/or overwhelmed and have preschoolers

PARENT-TOT PLAY TIME

Every Monday and Wed. from 9:00 - 11:30. A drop-in group for preschoolers and their caregivers. Circle time, craft, snack, toys, playground provided. Free lunch on Mondays. Clothing exchange on Wednesdays.

THE MOTHER GOOSE PROGRAM

The Parent-Child Mother Goose Program is an experience for parents and their children focusing on the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs and stories together. Gain skills and confidence to create positive family patterns during your child’s crucial early years. Give your child a healthy early experience with language and communication.

Starts April 10 at Happy Valley Elementary School. Every Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Runs for 8 weeks (until May 29)

For parents of young children 0-5, a family outreach counselor is available to provide parenting support and education, information on community resources and short-term counseling.
